  • Condition: (See Pictures for Details). Doll is mostly complete. Missing the original shoes and socks, however still has the matching orange/yellow colored handkerchief in the dress pocket. Shorts have small tear in back where the bobby pin is. Wear and scuff marks all over the 'skin' of the doll on the arms, hands, legs, and feet.

    by American Character,
    Betsy McCall, 34 inch
    doll. This delightfully
    impish and life-size doll
    is extremely difficult to find and is in good condition wearing her
    original (super rare, gold cotton dress with Venise trimmed pinafore)
    with attached petticoat, and original matching gold panties
    (outfit as shown on page 159, "American Character Dolls"-Izen, last photo)
    ; original shoes and socks are missing. One thing that makes this one especially rare is she has mismatched eyelashes. One being red, somewhat matching her hair, and the other one being black. She makes a great companion to any of the Ideal Patti PlayPal family of dolls and has a swivel neck and joints at her shoulders and hips with flat feet and can wear child-size clothing. She has no missing fingers or toes. Condition details are above and can be seen in pictures.
