    Description

WWII WW2 USAAF identification poster B-24D Liberator A-20C Boston Italy aircraft.
Lot of two US army Air Force identification unit posters dated 7/42 mounted to hard cardboard backers with Italian aircraft identification posters mounted on the reverse. Rack has a sealing strip marked Copyright 1943-Major F. R. Hazard They are each sealed in cellophane. I don’t know when this was done but it appears old. There is some small tearing to the cellophane posters show age toning , minor tears , staining and soiling, see photos. The colors are still vibrant. Each measures 14” x 20”. The rear mounted Italian aircraft identification posters are for the Malachi C-200 fighter and the Savoia Marchetti-79 fighter bomber. These posters are extremely rare in their own right and I have never seen them mounted in this way but we’re mounted in 1943 according to the copyright seal. Used for training lectures for us aircraft and gun crews.
