    Description

    WWII German Mauser Short Bayonet. Ricasso is marked "Gustav Spitzer" over a griffin/lion over "Solingen". The blade has not been sharpened, light nicks, there are small age spots with minor surface rust scattered throughout, and there is a bend about a 1/4" up from the tip. Basically you are buying the blade and crossguard. Leather washer is missing. No Scabbard. Length of the blade measures 8" (15/16" wide x 3/16" thick spine) and the overall length of the bayonet is 10 1/4".
