WWII German Solingen Fire K98 Dagger Knife Dress Bayonet w/Scabbard & Frog

Description

WWII German Fireman's Dress Bayonet with Scabbard and Frog. Ricasso is marked "Solingen". The blade is straight, clean, has not been sharpened and the tip is a little sharp. The black enameled scabbard is solid with no dents, and does have some light scattered paint loss mainly on the front side with a tiny bit of surface rust. Leather washer is intact. The leather frog is dry, crazing throughout, the stitching is loose on the top corners to about halfway on one side and a third down on the other. Length of the blade measures 9 13/16" (15/16" wide x 3/16" thick spine), length of the bayonet is 14 1/2", in the scabbard it is 15 5/8", and the frog alone is 8".
