Very good condition and guaranteed original Norwegian Puukko fighting/hunting knife that was presented as a Christmas present to a German soldier in 1940. This interesting knife is maker marked "B. KNUDSEN TRONDJEM NORGE" on the right side of the blade along with "KRIEGS-WEIHNACHTEN" (Wartime Christmas) 1940 and "B.B.406" (406th Construction Battalion). 4 1/2" blade has nice bright finish. Wood grip has original finish. Fitted in correct original leather sheath that shows some normal wear. A very interesting knife that will make a fine addition to a collection.
