    Description

    Very good condition original WWII German army cavalry officer dress sword that has Carl Eickhorn manufacturer markings on the left ricasso behind the langet.31 ½” blade has nice original bright finish. Tip has a ding. Still has original leather washer at the base. Brass hilt has attractive patina. Right langet has crossed sabers design. Leopard head pommel has intact red glass eyes. Grip has tight wire wrap and a chip by the ferrule. Complete with original knot that shows light wear and has a pliable leather strap. Fitted in correct original steel scabbard that has original black paint showing some normal wear and flaking, no dents. A nice WWII German cavalry officer sword for your collection.
