Description

WWII German Mauser M1884/98 Bayonet. Ricasso is marked "Coppel G.m.b.H." and the reverse has "8989" over "g". The black grips show light wear. The blade has 95% of the bluing remaining, has not been sharpened, some light nicks, tight, straight and mostly clean. Lock button
is
functional. The pommel has a double Waffenamt mark "WaA251" and it has surface rust throughout, same for the flashguard and most of the crossguard. No scabbard. Length of the blade measures 9 7/8" (1" wide x 3/16" thick spine) and length of the bayonet is 15 1/8".
