Description

WWII German Mauser M1884/98 Bayonet Scabbard with Frog. Scabbard is marked "8628" on one side and on the other side is "42cof" which stands for 1942 Carl Eickhorn. The scabbard is solid with no dents, it does have light surface rust throughout, and the ball finial is Waffenamt marked but is illegible. The leather frog shows wear, it is pliable, the stitching is tight, and it is faintly marked "Carl Hepting & Co." over "Stgt. Feuerbach" over "194?". Length of the scabbard measures 10 5/8" and the frog alone is 9 1/16".
