    Description

    Very good, original WWI, scarce maker German fighting knife. Knife is 10" w/a 5 1/2" blade. It's been sharpened and probably cleaned. The edges are very good and there's no rust or pitting. Nicely marked as shown "UNION ZELLA St. BL.". Iron guard, which has markings "113.9.12" (unit?) as shown and is tight. Walnut grip, w/3 iron pins. Has a small split at the pommel on one slab, that seems to be stable. There is very light rattle to the knife (tang/grip area), not bad at all. Grip is otherwise great w/good finish. Knife comes in original iron, scabbard with leather belt loop. Unmarked, minor wear and good finish. Very nice knife from a desirable maker.
