    Description

    These were in with some other WW2 period items that belonged to a soldier.  The flags pictured on the shoes are American and French.  I do not know actual history of them but suspect that they were brought home by a soldier from Europe after the war ended.  Pictures will provide best description.  I think it would take a lot of time and talent to make these out of a piece of wood.  They have small holes on one side which I think were used to secure the pair together with a cord.  Thanks for viewing.
