Description
You are bidding on an EXCELLENT example of a WW2 German Boot Knife / Combat Trench Knife! It comes complete with the original scabbard and Frog!As bayonets were typically long and heavy, some soldiers ended up privately purchasing various styles of hunting knives.
Throughout WW2, numerous manufactures produced these types of knives, available for both private purchase and military issue.
Made of wood and steel, this German Combat Fighting Knife is in SUPERB condition considering its age. The blade does show some marks, stains, and wear, but it still retains its factory edge. Markings have worn off over time. The scabbard is original to this knife, but it does feature some marks and wear. Some slight paint loss, but nothing that detracts.

------------------- ABOUT ME -----------------
Although my passion is the Me109, I do offer many other German Aircraft (Fw190, Me262, etc.), as well as USAF and Japanese items. Occasionally I do offer many non-vintage items such as prints and art relating to the time period. As a private collector myself, I am constantly on the lookout for historical memorabilia, authentic photographs, artwork or anything unique relating to military aircraft.
