This voltage regulator module converts an alternating voltage in the range of 6 ... 22 V ~ into a
smoothed and stabilized
DC voltage around. This DC output voltage can be set in the range of 3 ... 19 V- using a potentiometer.
In the model railway sector there are many consumers (circuits, modules, LEDs, etc.) that are controlled with direct current. With this voltage regulator, you can now let your model train transformer (usually in the accessory with output 14-19V AC) flow additional DC. Simply connect between the transformer outputs and the consumers.

Output for input DC: 3 ... 30 V DC (adjustable with potentiometer)
Output at input AC: 3 ... 19 V DC (adjustable with potentiometer)
