Strickly a barn find this vintage green EMBURY No. 0 Air Pilot barn lantern being sold in as is condition.... It is solid, and I believe original green paint, but it be missing the burner.
Tank marked EMBURY MFG. CO. WARSAW - NY - USA on back side with the front side marked EMBURY NO. 0 AIR PILOT
The 6-1/2" pear shape red globe marked No. 20 at the top and beneath that has a large Lightening E logo.. Has ruff edges top and bottom but no chips or cracks.
Selling as found other than blowing the settled dust dirt , removing the burner and lightly washing the dust, dirt and dirt dobber remains. Still see one partial dirt dobber nest at edge of fill cap inside. I didnt want to get water inside the tank.
Ther is some rust mostly around the burner edges on top of the tank.. There are paint loss spots around but I do believe it be the original paint. No
Has the star pattern bottom.
I found two small dents looking at back side. Bottom edge tank(I have it marked in red in photo above) and the left arm about half way up the globe.
18" tall counting the hanger and 13 not counting the hanger. 6-5/8" across the bottom.
Looks all original to me lantern looks good in its present condition if you just want a display. I believe it would work if you had a burner.
