    Description

    Hello!  I am just getting started selling my father's railroad lanterns that he collected over many years. All the lanterns that I list are being sold as-is, as found on my father's shelves. I am not a railroad collector but I will try to describe them as best I can.
    Vintage Union Pacific railroad lantern with short clear globe. Lantern dome stamped U.P. and The Adams & Westlake Co. Clear globe etched U.P. and also embossed Adlake Kero in small letters and CNX.
    Bottom marked:  Adlake Kero 1-35. U.S.A. 1415633 1415634-1415635 1660194 CANADA 1921-1923
    In excellent condition.  Straight frame, not broken or bent. No extra holes drilled.  Nice, clean frame.
    Adlake No. 250 fount and burner are present and in very good condition.  Marked:  Adlake No. 250, Use Long Time Burning Oil Only.  No holes - can hold fuel.  Wick moves easily up and down.  Slightly dented/pushed in on the bottom.
    Globe:  Excellent condition. No cracks or scratches. Embossed: ADLAKE KERO and CNX.  There are some small nicks/chips on the rims that cannot be seen when the globe is seated in the frame. Really nice etched U.P. globe.
