ongos.
Re-wrapped in Delmar Burgundy Sparkle.
Re-skinned with new
heads.
Interior has been refinished.
Original
Die-cast hoops
, and Speedboat lugs (5 + 4).
These later period Olympic Bongos have exactly the
same
3 ply
shells as the vintage Premier
bongos of the period
.
I have worked on both.
The metalwork does show signs of age and use in places, but generally it’s pretty good. It’s all been disassembled,
cleaned
, polished and refitted.
There is some pitting on the rims, the worst of the pitting is on
one
section of each rim.
I placed these where the hoops come together.
