Vintage NORTON ABRASIVES Safety Blade Sharpener Hone VS-1 Razor Straight Blades

Hello EVERYONE,, it is great to be back,, It has been over a year, but we have lots of great used saddles and tack now to sell,  So please mark us on your favorite sellers list, and keep watching for some awesome deals-
Here we have a nice used Vintage Norton Abrasive Safety Blade Hone Kit-  in good condition-  it is in the original box, that still has decent graphics- for as old as it is-
the kit includes the following-
Honing stone sharpener
Instructions Sheet
Original Box-
The Norton Abrasives company was formed in the late 1800's to create a new type of ceramic/emery hybrid sharpening stone. Around 1935 they acquired the Behr-Manning company, so that is how we figured out the date. Around this time, they had also shifted away from emery and moved to an aluminum alloy based product.
On the face, it has a V shaped groove for double edge razor blades. The instructions say you can also use the flat back side for straight razors. That would likely also work for wedge or single edge blades

It is used, but seems to be in good complete condition,  but I cant say for sure- please check out all the pictures-
it is believed to be from the 1940's era,
Much of the items I got, is dated, like the leather tooling pattern books, and such,  from the 1940's till later 1990s-
I do not know much of anything about this stuff,, I inherited a HUGE lot of vintage Tandy leather Craftools, leather repair items, leather punches, dyes, leather conditioner, and much more,, over a large tote full.  So I will be listing it here, most of it in lots, to save time and shipping-
