Vintage Lot Of 4 Betsy McCall Dolls 8”

Description

Vintage Lot Of 4 Betsy McCall Dolls 8”. Condition is “Used”. Shipped with USPS priority shipping .50. From a non-smoking home. Please look at all of the pictures.
• All of the dolls are marked Mc Call © Corp. on their back
• The majority of the dolls are loosely strung to some degree
• All of the dolls have various wear/marks/discoloring, things like that
• The eyes stick some on a couple of the dolls
• One of the dolls is missing a bit of plastic in between her legs
• The plastic is separated between the legs of the other two dolls
• The white pants and skirt were sewn tightly around the doll so that I couldn’t get it off of her
• On the same doll, some type of something or residue is visible on her back
• The same doll, her arms are like a shiny plastic where the others are more of a matte plastic, and one of her arms is definitely discolored
• One of the lighter haired dolls has some pretty good size balding on the back of her head
• I believe the pink dress, the white dress, and the two red and green dresses, along with at least one of the underwear, the shoes, and a pair of socks, to be ORIGINAL
• The basket is definitely not original as it has a sticker that says that it was made in Korea
• The cape and hat appear to be homemade possibly, or maybe just re-sewn
• One of the socks that definitely appears to be original, has a big hole/rip on it and it’s coming apart
• The clothes, the shoes, the underwear, the socks, they have some wear, flaws, some stains/discoloring on some, but nothing major really
* The vast majority of the items have been in my home for many years, some up to 30. Some were purchases along the way, and on eBay in the last 10 years or so.
*  I am sorry that I am not able to describe these items in better detail, my grandmother knew this stuff backward and forwards but unfortunately she is no longer with us.
*  Nothing I have is a museum piece, these were just collected through the years from all over the place, mostly doll shows and doll shops in Texas.
*  Most of these items are from a collection that spanned 50 years, many of these dolls may have been touched up, repainted, repaired, etc.  Some I can tell and some I just don't know.
*  I am no expert on the
originality
of clothes, hair, accessories etc. Please looks at the pictures and go from there.
*  Items are from a non-smoking home.
* I will combine shipping in most cases (as long as the auctions end in the same few days), just wait for the auctions to end and contact me.
* I have sold stuff on and off for over 20 years on Ebay, under this same name.  If there is a problem please contact me and I will try to work it out. This is not something I am doing just to make a quick buck.
*  Shipping can be expensive, please keep in mind that the actual cost paid to the post office is not the true cost, eBay includes that amount when I am charged fees which is around 13%, If you win an auction and you get your item and you feel your were unfairly charged then contact me about a refund. I loose money on shipping at times, it just comes with the territory.
* I have a very large collection and I intend to list a lot of items in the near future. I have way more items than I can probably ever list.
