VINTAGE ATHEARN CB&Q ZEPHYRS 40' STEEL BOX CAR MIB OYB CAR # 35789 ITEM # 1201

Description

This is a mint in the box model of an HO scale 40' steel single door box car lettered for the Chicago Burlington and Quincy Railroad in the brown "Everywhere West/Way of the Zephyrs" paint scheme. This car was made by Athearn and released as item number 1201 in June of 1957, and it is now out of production. Car number is 35789, and build date is 6-47. Car is in new unbuilt condition, and has Athearn Bettendorf trucks and NMRA couplers. Pictures show both sides of the car, the box cover picture, and the box end panel. Car is in the original Athearn yellow box with rare "Snow Scene" picture, and is marked as item number 1201. The box has some hand written script on the end as can be seen in the last picture.
