This auction is for a Vintage 7 Inch Wood Unsigned, Weighted Folk Art Spearing Decoy, as pictured. Unsigned weighted ice spearing decoy. Nice decoy. This was part of a large ice decoy collection we recently purchased. Check out the pictures! While we have a bunch of pristine like-new decoys, our favorite ice decoys are these beat-up, rusty, crusty homemade folk-art decoys. These are usually unsigned, handmade and the fins are simple, often made from coffee or tobacco tins. The paint is often leftover house paint. The decoys are usually weighted with lead. We find these at local garage sales or auctions and these ice decoys make great one-of-a-kind collectibles. Perfect to display!!!! Check out the pictures!
