the front bearing edge on the bass drum when the head is off.
Luckily most of that is covered when the front head is on.  I encourage interested parties to write me so I can email them additional pictures of the other issues mentioned below.

a sale is a vintage 1963 Gretsch "Name Band" drum set in Aqua (blue) Stain Flame finish, catalog No. 4015.
I detailed and cleaned everything so you won't have to.  This is one of those old kits that looks great from 5 feet away, and it's cool that it's complete with it's original matching snare drum, and all the factory extras.
But looking closer it has plenty of player wear and use marks, plus this finish is known for getting scratches, use marks and fading.
Comes complete with it's Gretsch drum key in the drum key holder on the snare drum, floating action bass drum pedal, L-arm cymbal holder, snare drum stand, and two of the four Gretsch soft gig bags with silver piping(13" and 20").
Nice micro sensitive throw-off with correct early knob. Throw off works perfectly.  All tension rods are original to the drums.  All the original mufflers are present and work perfectly, including the fancy bass drum internal muffler.
The drums sound nice even with the used heads.
All 6 ply shells with gray insides and their paper labels still attached.
Here's the info on those labels:
9"x13" model 4416 - #48830 - 6 lugs a side
16"x16" model 4418 - #23186 - 8 lugs a side
5 1/2"x14" model 4157 - #23328 - 8 lugs
14"x20" model 4249 - #52145 - 8 lugs a side.  All of the round badges are super clean.
Condition notes: 1) As mentioned original wrap has use marks, scratches and varying fade.  I'd say the front edge and top of the bass drum are the worst.  2) Part of the wrap is missing at the seam on the top edge of the snare drum (mostly covered by head).  Looks like they didn't make sure the seam landed under a lug.  I can email you a close up picture of that area.  3) One of the three floor tom leg mounts was striped and original owner put a larger bolt in it.  It works correctly but is ugly.  4) Bass drum was missing 3 of it's T's so I used tension rods on the 3 bottom batter side claws.  5) Original owner must of used the kit with the front bass drum head off because there are tons of scars on the wrap edge and the front bearing edge.  Luckily the front head covers most of it.  6) Snare drum stand is very worn on the chrome plating, but still functions correctly.  7) Bass drum pedal heel hinge is not original, but the pedal works.  8) Zipper on the 20" bass drum gig bag is worn.  I could get it to work but you have to help it along half way.  9) Wing screw on the bottom of the L-arm cymbal holder has one of it's wings broken off, but it still works and does the job.  10) Original diecast rims have plenty of scratches and use marks on them.  11) The long bar on the rail consolutte has chrome plating loss. 12) The original 42 stand Gretsch Power Snare wires are missing 15 strands, wow! Bottom head looks to be original on the snare drum.
In my opinion, here's the overall condition in order of best to worst: 1) snare drum, 2) floor tom, 3) upper tom, 4) bass drum.
I will not sell just the snare drum separately.
