    Description

    Up for sale is a very rare 1940's green ears 11" Paper Mache Nipper. After WWII, RCA wanted to make an "All American Nipper." They were made by the Old King Coal company, and were available in 2 sizes; 36" & 11". The ears were originally a dark brown, but faded to a dull green after years of exposure to sunlight in record store windows. Only a few thousand were ever made, and the vast majority were spared exposure to sunlight, meaning that relatively few of the green ears nippers exist.
    There are normal signs of old age, including a few minor chips and cracks. Small paper mache Nippers are incredibly rare on eBay, and this green eared nipper is the only green eared nipper I've ever seen.
