SunDial Compass Scouts Hikers Tells Time George W. Moore Co. Antique

Description

This Antique Cardboard & Metal Card is a SunDial Compass for Scouts and Hikers that "Tells Time", mfg. by George W. Moore, Boston, Mass. Patent Pending, measures approx. 2.5" x 4".
Instructions at the bottom of the card say: Hold card flat, stylus upright needle pointing North.  Shadow shows Sun Time.  For greater accuracy, when local standard time is 12 noon have shadow show 12 noon also.  Move the diamond over the point of the compass needle, then always use diamond in telling time instead of North.  For Southern states, the compass must face this side of the card, for Northern states, the other side.
