bidding on a sealed new CED videodisc of "An American in Paris" with Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron.
CED was a 1980's alternative to the Laserdisc format, but it never really caught on.  So CED discs are uncommon and have become somewhat collectible.
The brilliant Gene Kelly dance musical "An American in Paris"  is not too hard to find in the CED format, but it is pretty hard to find one that hasn't been opened.  This one is new, still sealed in the manufacturer's shrinkwrap.  The shrinkwrap does show some wear, but the discs have never been removed or played and it still has the original price tags, etc.
