The pottery made in Kyoto is generally called  Kyo yaki, Kiyomizu yaki.
It is one of the representative traditional crafts of Kyoto.
It is handmade and carefully made one by one.
It does not have a specific style or technique, but are a fusion of all techniques.
The reason is that Kyoto was blessed with the best materials and artisans from all over Japan, as well as temples and shrines,
the imperial family, and aristocrats who supported the culture.
