Royal Winton GrimwadesFloral Creamer
Pink Rim, Gold Trim, Albans Shape (c. 1940s)
I haven't been able to find a pattern name for this pretty little creamer from Royal Winton Grimwades (England). The shape appears to be "Albans," but the very pretty, colorful floral bouquet on the front and the flowers scattered around the pink rim shall have to remain nameless for now. The detailing is what one would expect from Royal Winton, with nice gold trim on the rim, foot, and handle, and a fence-like gold band separating the pale pink top quarter from the rest of the white body.
The creamer has overall crazing, mainly on the exterior (on the interior that is light crazing around the rim and spout). There are no chips or cracks that I can see. The gold rim has a bit of wear, visible in the closeup photos.
The bottom has round green mark for "Royal Winton | A | Grimwades | Made in England." Thre is also a gold hand-written mark that looks like 401 or 1101. I believe the large A was used in the 1940s.
