ROGERS "Top Hat" Drum Set - VINTAGE..!   ***Main Set***

Description

An OUTSTANDING, Vintage Rogers Drum Set..!  The model configured is known as the "Top Hat"...  We special ordered the initial package pictured in this listing on September 17, 1966 from Westmont Music Center, in Westmont, Illinois (See Original Invoice.)  The drum set was played for several years and packed away for the future - About 46 years, in the future...  Carefully stored for these many years - The Shells, Wrap and Chrome hardware are in GREAT condition...  The Rogers Bass & Tom face heads are the original as provided when new...  The entire configuration consists of the following ORIGINAL hardware:

The four soft drum cases were folded and stored separately thus they appear as new - The drums were wrapped individually in soft cotton sleeves and not in their respective covers - The cymbals were also stored in their individual cotton wraps...  The original Trap case for the snare, cymbals and hardware is included but not pictured (New straps are on order.) as well as a replacement Throne...  The Rogers catalog will be retained, though page copies of specific items as well as a copy of the ORIGINAL sales invoice will be provided...  This set probably ranks with those few remaining sets that truly stand-out...  Certainly, pricing something like this configuration is quite the challenge...  Finding a good home that will appreciate this incredible Rogers Drum Set is well worth our wait.
Please Note - This VINTAGE Rogers set is offered AS-IS without any Implied Warranty and NO request for Refund/Return will be accepted...  The only items we know of that are less than perfect are as follows:
*** The Dual Tom mounting plate on the Bass Drum is missing a chrome bolt/washer/nut
*** Two washers are missing for the Bass Drum lower claw tension rods
(The above two issues probably occurred in the 70's when the drums were detailed and prepped for long-term storage)
*** The chrome mounting bracket for the foot pedal can be re-chromed
*** Though NOT obvious, some random pitting can be found
Also Note -  Listed separately on the site is the "Add On" four drum Rogers package, including hardware and an additional Zildjian 22" Ride Cymbal...  This add-on package was ordered shortly after the "Main Set" listed above was acquired.
Regarding Shipping -  Our preference is 'Local Pick-up' to allow for inspection of all the items before taking possession and avoid the risk of shipping damage...  That said, with multiple requests for shipping, we decided to offer the option...  The set would ship in six or seven boxes - Much preparation will be required to acquire all the shipping materials and properly/safely package each individual item and price/insure the entire shipment accordingly...  A similar packaging offer is already configured for the "Add-On Set" listed separately on the site...  The set would ship UPS Ground, insured and will require signature - The estimated shipping charge is 9.00 - If this option is preferred, let us know your thoughts so we can update the listing, complete the transaction and package accordingly... Also, shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico is NOT included in this offer.
