Here's shelf art in it's finest hour. I've made and sold perhaps 2 dozen of these RCA Nipper dog shelf art pieces since day one, and this may very well be the nicest yet. This piece features and old car horn, stripped, then painted silver hammertone. Mounted onto the end of the cut-down car horn is a real Sonora Reproducer. Mounted onto the 15 1/2" wide varnished wood base is the real plaque from an old Victrola phonograph. The Nipper dog was (past tense) a heavy cast iron piggy bank, but somewhere along the line a previous owner welded the two piece bank into a solid one piece unit, now no longer take-apart to retrieve coins- - -so don't put coins into it. After final assembly I lovingly clear coated the entire piece (except Reproducer) for utmost curb appeal. Now the bad news, originally I use to pay to for the Nipper dogs, now the best I can do is to per dog, sooooo finally a price increase- - -sorry.
