  • Condition: This 50's Trixon 20" nickel over brass floor tom hoop is in good shape. Does have some dents and scratches and some bends around the top perimeter and a little wobble when set on my granite bar. The ears and ear holes are in excellent condition. No cracks. Nice heavy hoop!

    For sale is a very rare Vintage Trixon 20" 8 hole floor tom hoop.  I believe it is from the 50's.  It is nickel over brass.  The ears and ear holes are in excellent condition.  There are some marks, dents, scratches and some bends around the top perimeter and it has a little wobble when I set it on my granite bar top.  This hefty hoop weighs 2lb 3.5oz.
    (photo #6) is a shot of Lionel Hampton soloing on his Trixon floor tom.  This 20" hoop was used on the Contra Bass and Bass Tom (photo #7).  It was also used on the Latin-American Combo Drum (photo #8).
