vintage Royal Winton, Grimwades "Marquerite" Chintz Porcelain Breakfast Set and Plate. These were also called "Gentlemen's Breakfast Sets" and normally you don't have a plate that matches so this is a real find..
This set is in very nice condition from an old estate and has been uniquely preserved in a display cabinet for years. The set is in very nice condition, with no real signs of use and no chips on any of the pieces. It is a wonderful set of British china from this era and would be a stunning addition to ANY collection or for your personal use. Check out these photos. This is a rare opportunity to own a set of this fine china for a FRACTION of what it usually sells for.
The lovely Chintz set is completely decorated with florals in shades of dark red, blue, yellow and gold.  The set includes a teapot, cup, milk jug, sugar pot/egg cup, a 2-slice toast rack, tray and a matching plate. Often times people will use the sugar pot as an egg cup.  The entire set is in very nice condition.
The Breakfast Set is Marked "Marquerite, Grimwades, Royal Winton, Made in England"
The teapot stands 4" high, 5 1/8"  long and 3 1/4" wide. The toast rack is 1 3/4" high, 2 7/8" long and 2 1/2" wide.
