RARE E.S. RITCHIE 8 5/16” 1/4” 3/8" MARINE COMPASS BRASS BOSTON # 70214

Description

This large antique marine compass is by E.S. Ritchie of Boston. The compass measures 8 1/4"-8 3/8” (Actual measurement is 8 5/16”) in diameter to the outer edge of the brass rim. The dial is marked at the North indicator mark - Ritchie, Boston, U.S.A. The center is marked - RITCHIE BOSTON. The brass rim is marked - E.S. Ritchie 70214 ( serial number) Boston. The compass is in good working condition. Missing it's gimble. Please see the photos for details and please ask any questions that you may have.
