    Description

    This large antique marine compass is by E.S. Ritchie of Boston. The compass measures 10 1/2" in diameter to the outer edge of the brass rim. The dial is marked at the North indicator mark - Ritchie, Boston, U.S.A. The center is marked - Sold by Riggs & Bro., Philadelphia. The brass rim is marked - E.S. Ritchie 25741 ( serial number) Boston. The compass is in good working condition. It still has it's gimble but has no box.
