in very good to excellent condition.  This is
NOT
an ex-rental.
The tape comes in its original uncut custom Fotomat die-cut beta sized slipcase.
The case is in very good to excellent condition with very light overall wear mainly around the edges.
Fotomat started renting and selling videotapes through their parking lot kiosks in the early 80's.  Most of their releases came in these company branded die-cut slipcases.
The tape is mold free. This tape has been tested and it plays just fine.  Please be aware that due to the age of the tape and use there may be dropouts and/or minor tracking issues.

(1978)
1917, the last months of legal prostitution in Storyville - New Orleans' red-light district. Hattie, a prostitute at the elegant home of Madame Nell, and her 12-year-old daughter Violet are the only ones awake with photographer Ernest J. Bellocq comes by with his camera. He takes pictures of Hattie and he fascinates Violet. Over the next few months, Nell arranges for the auction of Violet's virginity, Hattie marries and goes to St. Louis leaving Violet behind, and Violet determines to marry Bellocq. Is this idyllic or is she just a girl wearing rouge, soon to return to childhood?
