Information about the poster:
Created in 1943 for the Office of War Information.
Depicts a man and woman working in a garden while a little boy wearing a cap bearing military insignia gazes at a basket full of vegetables. The purpose was to make sure people knew that by being self sufficient at home to stretch rations, but also that more food could be sent abroad to support the war effort. These posters are hard to come by as originals and usually some of the more desirable.
