Original WWII German Bayonet / Fighting Knife K98 Parade (Unmarked/No Scabbard)

Description

A very interesting WWII German army parade bayonet that has been sharpened, and has had it's orignal checkered grips replaced with handmade wooden grips, painted black. The paint is worn from use. The blade has been sharpened, there is no scabbard. It is possible this bayonet was modified into a fighting knife during WWII, or repurposed following the war. A cool piece either way.
