Original Vintage 1957 8” Betsy McCall “Holiday” Skirt & Blouse

PLEASE READ! You are buying as is! Please ask any questions before bidding! I am not a dealer or a shop owner just a doll lover who is downsizing in her retirement. This is the skirt and top of the 1957 outfit “Holiday”. The skirt color is a pale pink most likely from fading but it is evenly faded all over. The velvet is soft, but holds it shape. The black elastic waist has been restitched with elastic thread and has its stretchiness once again. It has a small dark spot on the back left and a teeny tiny spot on the left front. All seams are intact and the bias trim is still firmly attached. It has no holes or rips. The white top still has all its lace and silver metalic trim and all seams are intact except for the right neckline. At the shoulder neckline it has come unstitched and the trim has pulled open. It could easily be stitched back together and still work fine. The only other flaw I see are very faint pencil tip spots near the waistline. Could’ve been caused by the doll stands. These pieces would be a good starter outfit for your Betsy collection. If you should win this auction please pay within three days and thanks so very much for reading!
