Nautical Navy Leitz Compass & Binnacle 38 Pounds Compass is 9 3/4"

Here is a somewhat rare and rather large compass with original binnacle. The compass is made by Leitz San Francisco, CA and the Binnacle was made by C.G. Conn Company, Indiana. The total weight is approximately 38 Pounds! Like to have it picked up here close to Reno, Nevada. Shipping will be expensive and tough to pack! 100.00 - 150.00 be my guess. The compass has some moisture inside and could most likely need some upgrade. It does however show correctly. It is gimballed and that works fine. All these small things can easily be corrected. Have not polished since many want the old patina. The compass is 9 3/4" wide and the glass 8" in width. The binnacle is 12" in width! Comes with a tripod magnifier glass that sat on top of the glass originally. This is rare to find together with the original compass. Missing one little set screw on the tripod leg.
