This auction is for an UNUSED large Danforth "Constellation" boat compass.  WORLD CRUISING size and quality.    There are numerous photos to show it's  remarkable condition and details.
Purchased for a large Cruising Yacht and never installed- It still bears the sellers original tag.

,  it is their top-of-the line Yacht compass, suitable for either sail or power vessels.  Designed for any Horizontal wheelhouse mounting, or for attachment to any large pedestal.
Marked on the card- "Danforth -  Constellation".  Very LARGE AND EASY TO READ numerals.  SUPERB readability.  Large and tall shadow pin, useful for determining Sun azimuths.  Prominent, easy to see lubber lines for alignment.  VERY smoothly gimbaled for any sea condition- "Fast" enough that it is appropriate for any Motor or Sailing vessel.  12 Volt illumination for night running.   Compass dome measures about 4 3/4" across.  Compass shows no  signs of use, looking great.   Stands about 6 3/4" inches tall and measures a touch under  6 1/2" across the top ring.
Stated shipping cost will cover secure boxing in an oversize package, to insure safe delivery.
