Horace Tabors famous Matchless Mine producing tens of thousands of dollars of wealth each month for him and his new wife Baby Doe Tabor making them one of the richest couples in the nation. Horace even serving as a US Senator. But oh, how the worm turns...Horace, bankrupt with the silver crash overnight, died in 1898. Leaving his widow Mrs. Tabor living alone and penniless and eventually dying in 1935 in a small supply shack in the mining district of Leadville.
