Lady Schick Model 70 Haircurler with Beautifying Mist

Offered is a vintage Lady Schick Haircurler with Beautifying Mist Model 70 and the complete set of 20 curlers.
Conditon is used.
The unit itself is clean and in working condition.  You can see the steam on the lid in the last image.  There are no cracks on the blue lid or the unit bottom, no cracked hinges, nice silver front label.  Cord is in nice shape and is not spliced and there are no nicks in the wire.
The curlers are a complete set of 20, however, they are showing signs of age and are beginning to “flake”.  You may be able to sort through them but I’m not sure how long they will last - being honest.  The 4 smallest size curlers are not doing this.  See image 11 of the plastic tub I had these in, you can see the bits that flaked off.
You can get replacement curlers and continue to use this unit.  Having said that, this item is vintage, sold as is, there is no warranty given or implied.  I did test it 4 times and it takes about 15 minutes to heat up and the unit does appear to work as it should.
Listed accurately and honestly.  If anything above scares you then maybe pass on this one.  To eliminate any dissapointment, I point out any deficiencies I find and don’t just say “used”…
Since the curlers are not 100% I have a low opening bid and this is a no reserve auction.  I'm sure someone creative can still get some use out of this, or it does make a nice vintage display piece.

I have had to stop guessing on the shipping - Buyer to pay for shipping based on actual shipping weight of 5 lbs. packed in a 16” x 10” x 7” box from my zip code (75154). Please use the eBay shipping calculator to get the amount.  I’m guessing FedEx Ground will be the least expensive so that is listed first.  PLEASE CHECK the eBay shipping calculator for the service that suites you best.  Whatever it is, shipping is ACTUAL only!
Tracking will populate in your “Purchased Items” list once I print the shipping label.

I ship every weekday, however, items purchased/won on a Friday – Sunday will be mailed the following Monday.
