    You are bidding on an original German manufactured Frog for the K98 bayonet
    .
    In very good condition. The leather is in excellent shape for its age. A little stiff but not brittle or crumbling. The original thread was disintegrating with 70% of the stitches popped. I carefully removed the thread but left the rivets in place. I restitched the entire frog with color matched thread. If I hadn't told you you probably would not have noticed the difference. The tanned side of the leather has been cleaned with saddle soap but otherwise left as original.
