    Description

This auction is for a saki bottle / sake bottle  made by Isezaki Jun, named Japan's National Living Treasure in 2004. A beautiful Bizen piece, 9 1/4" tall. There are no chips or cracks, but there ARE two pits and a crease/split at the rim/ mouth of the bottle.  See photos of closeups, #8, #9 and #10 &11. There are also smaller pits throughout this piece, which is usual with bizen pottery and to be expected.  The two mentioned above are only mentioned because they are rather sizable.
#8 - small crease/split at mouth of piece.
#9 - pit with hard white firing defect inside. Can also see this area in context with the rest of the piece in first photo.
#10 & 11 - pit at bottom of piece near signature
I do not have documentation for this piece, so please...Only bidders who already know this work to be authentic are welcome. AS IS SALE.
Flat rate insured double-boxed economy shipping inside the US is .95.
Please see last photo in gallery above for seller terms before bidding, thanks!
