Hornet 3L Spinner Bait; Unusual, Seldom Seen, Older Than Vintage, Circa 1945

For sale is a very
unusual old Hornet 3L spinner bait made circa 1945
by now closed
Hornet, Inc of Elyria , Ohio.  This
unique spinner bait
shows paint loss, but its spinner, attaching hardware, and treble hook are intact.
This hard to find lure is no longer being made.  A very nice collectible.
The tackle for sale is used
.  Please review the description and photographs very carefully.  I gently clean my sale items.  However, I do not alter or modify them in any way.
Anglers and collectors often prefer to use older tackle, especially earlier versions of lures currently being manufactured or models no longer being produced.  Older lures are often more valuable, have proven track-records of success, and are generally better made than many of today's models.  Frankly, older discontinued lures are just better investments.

I ship in boxes and try hard to keep shipping costs down, using the least expensive delivery service that allows me to ship items securely--generally USPS first-class mail.  If I can ship multiple items in one box to the same buyer at the same time, I charge one shipping cost, and credit the buyer for any excess shipping charges paid by the purchaser.  If you prefer expedited shipping, please let me know in advance so that I can quote you a cost.
