I'm not an expert in trains but I'm learning quickly.  I just like trains and all the things that go with them and happen to own a LOT of them.
Every train engine and train car I list has been run on my tracks before it gets packed for shipment so I know for a fact that they run.   Some engines and longer train cars do not necessarily (although they
might
) run well or at all on 18 inch radius curves and only perform well on 22 inch radius ( or larger ) curve track setups like mine.
The descriptions are the best information I can give you as I know it.  I take as good a care of my train items and train accessory items as I know how but these are USED units for the most part unless they are listed as new so they have been around for quite a while. You could and should expect there may be small pieces that are missing or they may have been repaired or there may be paint blemishes here and there. Everything is sold "as is"
Some passenger and freight cars of various types have been built from kits so don't expect them to look like factory assembly line made train cars.  What you see is what you get but pictures cant capture every detail.
