    Description

    A Handlan Buck MFG Co. (Chicago, Peoria and St. Louis RR) C.P. and St.L RR lantern, red in color with a clear severely cracked embossed Wabash RR "flag" globe. The metal is in good shape with minor rust, the globe has numerous cracks but is still intact.

    Some background:  the C.P. and St.L Railroad operated in the late 1800's up until 1924 when it was broken up into 4 different sections by other railroads. Parts of the C.P.and St.L RR were purchased by the Wabash RR.
