German k98 Parade Dress Bayonet Knife E.F.Horster w/Scabbard
German k98 Parade Dress Bayonet Knife E.F.Horster w/Scabbard. This is the original short version of a dress bayonet. Overall length 13.5" with a 7.5" carbine style blade. Nicely marked (n an oval 'E.F.Horster Solingen' with their logo in center. Blade has original configuration and length and unsharpened but does show minor handling marks. Plastic checkered grips tight and undamaged. Push button works. Somewhere to opposite side of pommel plating has worn off. Scabbard has less than 50% original paint. A number '231' is stamped into scabbard throat. This is original and about 80 years old. Always---study photos carefully. .postage.
