CHICAGO & NORTHWESTERN RAILROAD LANTERN – Clear Cast C&NWRy Lantern Globe

$ 78.67

Availability: 100 in stock
  • Featured Refinements: Lantern Globe
  • Condition: The lantern frame is in excellent condition with an original chocolate brown patina; stands straight and has no extra holes drilled, major dents, bent, broken or missing parts. It has a threaded fuel fount stamped Dressel on the bottom and a P&A (Plum & Atwood) burner (takes a 5/8” wick). The wick easily moves up and down when the adjuster is turned, the fount fits well and should hold fuel and burn if desired, shows no visible damage or repairs, but has not been tested. The Clear Cast Lantern Globe is cast C&NWRy in an oval panel and has the CNX Corning Glass trademark cast on the opposite side. The lantern globe is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, scratches, or cloudiness. As with any lantern globe that was used in actual railroad service, there are the usual minor nicks and chips on the rims that will not show when the lantern is seated in the lantern frame.
