  • Condition: Here’s the deal. I think that about an inch of the large end was cut off. There is no longer a groove to fit the raised button on the horn. The elbow is split lengthwise, and then someone soldered or glued a ring of metal to the inside to hold it together. Then they wrapped coils of thin wire above the slip-in end, I guess to hold it together some more (It looks like it’s threaded, but that’s the wire.) And there is a rivet in there that appears to serve no purpose. But it is being held together pretty well, if that helps, and I do think that it started life as an original Victor II elbow. I found it on a Victor II, and the small end fits down the opening of the horn support just fine.

    Boy, that’s one messed-up Victor II Slip-In Elbow – You Fix It!
    Well, I believe this to be an original and very hard to find slip-in elbow for a late Victor II phonograph. Suitable for a late model Victor II, IF YOU CAN FIX IT.
    The diameter of the small end is 1 ¼ inches. The diameter of the large end is smaller end is about 2 ¼ inches.
    Condition:
