This item is brand new. It was bought from a local hobby shop that was closing due to retirement. It is vintage NEW old stock. This item was on display in a case at the shop but never used or sold before, only tested.
This train has been tested on a straight test track with a traditional analog transformer. Digital trains were not tested digitally. It runs in both forward and reverse. Since this is a vintage NOS (new old stock) train, if warranted, I removed the body to clean and lube the gears & motor. Expect some box shelf wear. Photos show some of the wear and tear of the box. If you are concerned about the condition of the box and the photo does not show all that you need please ask and I’ll get you some more photos. I have 2 of these both are in the same condition. You may not get the one shown in photo.
