    Description

    This is a ready to run model of an HO scale 40' wood and steel box car lettered for the Southern Pacific Railroad in the brown "T&NO" paint scheme. The reporting marks are for the Texas and New Orleans division of the SP. This car as made by Athearn in their line of Blue Box freight cars as item number 5235 in January of 1996, and it is now out of production. Car number is 38368, and build date is 8-34 and car has end numbers. Car is in excellent condition with no broken steps, and  has plastic Bettendorf trucks with Kadee metal wheels, and Kadee knuckle couplers. Pictures show both sides of the car, and the box end panel.
