    Description

Since the beginning of humanity, it was known that the length of the shadow cast by an object indicating a different time of the day, as the shadow grew longer or shorter. The first sundial that man invented was a simple stake in the ground, and over the centuries he was discovered principles and mechanisms to give some precision to these measures.
    The sundial
Galileo, is horizontal and is a perfect reproduction of the ones made in the sixteenth century, whose use was widespread at that time. Its interior decoration is typical of these sundials that can be seen in major museums around the world, such as the British Museum or the Naval Museum in Madrid. It is made of wood and is accompanied by a small manual with the story of the sundial and usage.
